Travel theme: Paint

I’ve had this shot for years. And I’ve never known what to do with it…

Until today!

Why have ten colours when you can ‘make’ hundreds!

Is what I’m guessing my three-year-old son was thinking as he delighted in mixing all the colours of the newly purchased paint pots together. At this point my daughter had gone inside to prepare herself for an afternoon of delightful and orderly painting. A daughter who likes lists and things in their proper places. A son who, let’s just say, has a propensity for the rather more abstract and free-form.

I won’t go into what happened shortly after this photo was taken upon my daughter’s return. (Suffice to say the therapy has been working nicely for me)

So thank you Ailsa for enabling this photograph to finally have a purpose. 🙂

About Saxon

I'm passionate about travelling, music, photography, blogging, 'Social Anthropology' (the posh term for people-watching) and creating content. I travel to learn and observe to understand. My dream day would look something like this.... A bottle of red (or two), fresh baguette (or two) & wedge of Camembert (or two), a balmy Paris September eve spent people-watching in fine company on the banks of the Canal St Martin.
