Just a face in the crowd.

The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

The ‘whole’ in question in these photographs is the annual Sydney Road Festival in Melbourne, Australia. The ‘parts’ happy, smiling, zen and dancing individuals enjoying one of the most popular, if not the most popular, street festival in Melbourne.

Sydney Road Festival.

It really is a kaleidoscope of cultures, cuisines, political and gender persuasions, musical tastes and fashion senses.  In other words nirvana for a wandering photographer. So for this post I’m just going to let the photos do the talking.

I really enjoy your themes Nancy. I remember how hot it was getting that shot. It was about 110 F and looking back in to the sun was, rather warm, let’s just say. The things we do hey!
